Terms of service

What we do

Tokio Travel Solutions acts as an agent. We arrange flights, visas and related travel services on your behalf with airlines, visa services and other providers.

The travel itself is delivered by those providers under their own terms and conditions. Your ticket is a contract between you and the airline; your visa is issued by the relevant authority. We are responsible for arranging it correctly and for the service we provide to you.

Quotes and fares

A quote reflects the fare available at the time it is given. Airline fares and availability change continuously, and a quote is not a guarantee until the booking is confirmed and, where required, ticketed.

We will always tell you the total cost before you commit, separating the fare from any service fee or visa cost.

Payment

Airlines require payment before a ticket is issued. We will confirm the exact amount and give you a booking reference before payment is taken.

Where a booking is settled in instalments, the outstanding balance and the payments received are recorded against your booking and can be confirmed with us at any time.

Changes and cancellations

Most tickets can be changed or cancelled, subject to the airline’s fare rules. There is usually an airline change fee and any difference in fare.

Tell us as early as you can. We will tell you what a change will cost before we make it, and we will not make a change you have not agreed to.

Travel documents

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and for meeting the entry requirements of your destination and of any country you transit.

Where we assist with a visa, we do so on the information you provide. We cannot guarantee that a visa will be granted — that decision belongs to the issuing authority. We will tell you honestly what we think the likelihood and the timeline are.

Our liability

We are responsible for arranging your travel with reasonable care and skill, and for the accuracy of the information we give you.

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding or losses caused by an airline, a visa authority or another provider. Where that happens, we will help you deal with them.
